DevOps Engineer/SRE - Hedge Fund - Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD - £850/day (Contract)
Location: Mayfair/Remote Country: UK Rate: £600-£850/day inside IR35

There is a new role with a Hedge Fund in London, looking for a senior DevOps Engineer/SRE to join their core technology team in a Front Office facing role.

The role is to support the technology estate including distributed computation for research and production, with a focus on Container-based development environments, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Dashboard and Alerts Monitoring.

The tech-stack includes Linux, AWS, Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Jenkins, GitLab, Splunk, Nagios and Sentry

They are looking for an accomplished DevOps Engineer/SRE who can understand the requirements of the business and design/build tooling, as well as optimise the technology estate to enable them to continue on their growth path.

You must have the following skills and experience to be considered:

  • Strong background in DevOps Engineering/SRE
  • Financial Services experience
  • Linux
  • DevOps Tooling - CI/CD, Jenkins
  • Background in alerting/monitoring tooling
  • Containers

Rate is negotiable up to £850/day inside IR35 for an initial 6 month contract
