Do you come from a background in IT support and are looking for a role which will allow to work on some exciting projects and propel you into the world of government and defence? Then this could be the role for you. Our client is looking for a 2nd Line support technician to join for one of their brand-new sites in Scotland. They are looking for someone who has previously provided desktop support to a 2nd line capacity to join their exciting and collaborative team.

Looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a 2nd line desktop support role.
  • Has prior experience of working within an ITIL environment.
  • Has proven experience working with the likes of Microsoft Windows 10, McAfee/EPO, Active Directory and Virtualisation (VMWare or Vsphere).
  • Has a drive to continually develop themselves and broaden their technical skill set.
  • Can provide clear and concise written and verbal communication to both internal and external stakeholders.

Previous experience in a role which involves Government and Defence or who has previously held security clearance would be an advantage.
