Reports To: Payments Manager/IT Manager

Job Summary:

The OPF Specialist will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and management of the Open Payment Framework system. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of payment processes, enhancing payment solutions, and collaborating with various teams to support payment infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in payment systems, technical expertise in OPF, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management:

- Configure, maintain, and optimize the Open Payment Framework (OPF) system to ensure efficient payment processing.

- Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates and patches.

Implementation and Integration:

- Lead the implementation of OPF solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.

- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate OPF with various payment gateways and banking systems.

Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide technical support for OPF-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving system errors and failures.

- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve technical challenges.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the payment framework and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in payment technologies to propose upgrades and innovations.

-Compliance and Security:

- Ensure that payment processes comply with relevant financial regulations and security standards.

- Implement and maintain security measures to protect payment data and prevent fraud.

-Documentation and Training:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for OPF configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Train internal staff on the use and features of the OPF system, providing ongoing support as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with payment systems, with a focus on Open Payment Framework (OPF).

- Strong technical skills, including experience with system configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.

- Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to OPF (eg, Java, SQL, XML).

- In-depth understanding of payment processing, banking systems, and financial regulations.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in payment systems or related technologies (eg, Certified Payment Professional (CPP).

- Experience with large-scale payment processing environments.

- Knowledge of emerging payment technologies and trends.
