Merakey is seeking a Senior Contract Coordinator to join our Business Operations team in our Erdenheim, PA or Harrisburg, PA location.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Contract Coordinator will initiate and facilitate the routing, approval and execution of payer contracts in accordance to Merakey Contract Vetting Procedures (Medicare, Medicaid, County/Parish, Medicaid MCO) with oversight of School District contracts as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

  • Track and monitor payer contracts throughout lifecycle from inception to execution and post-implementation. Maintain knowledge of status of all active contracts assigned.
  • Provide support to BH/IDD/E&A Contract and Credentialing Coordinators as needed.
  • Produce productivity and issues reports as determined by the Dir. of Contracting and Credentialing
  • Management and processing of Locum Tenens & 1099 agreements. Communicate with the Credentialing team name of Locum or 1099 so that the credentialing process can be initiated.
  • Create, maintain and monitor information loaded into (Contract/Credential software) ensuring all deadlines are met and content is accurate.
  • Provide necessary support and communication to the CBO and program regarding single case agreements. Ensure that all single case agreements are processed within a timely manner to avoid delay in services and billing.
  • Track number of single case agreements requested for specific payers to determine need for contract agreement.
  • Work with contracting coordinators to ensure fee schedules across all payers are monitored to remain current. Notify the Director of Contracting and Credentialing of any changes in rates.
  • Assist with completion of any new business contracting applications.
  • Coordinate with, and support, the Senior Credentialing Specialist to ensure that all appropriate staff are fully credentialing with each payer.
  • Maintain current knowledge of contracting regulations.
  • Assist the Director of Contracts and Credentialing by participating in Activities Management meetings/calls as requested.
  • Travel between Merakey locations as needed (10-15%)
